Bingwu Year's Eve | To Our Fellow Travelers at GREENSIDE: The Old Year Behind, A New Journey Ahead

Time: 2026-02-16

Today is Chinese New Year’s Eve.
Wherever you are now—maybe just finishing work and on your way home; maybe having returned early to help your parents paste Spring Festival couplets; maybe standing by the stove, waiting for the dumplings to float to the top—GREENSIDE wants to say to you:
Well done on this year, and happy Spring Festival.

New Year’s Eve marks the end of the old year and the prelude to the new.
On this night, every household pastes the Fu character. As we Chinese believe, when blessing arrives, home arrives. The blessing of our GREENSIDE family never comes from anywhere else—it is brought little by little by your dedication and commitment, decorating our doorsteps and settling into our daily lives.
On this night, fish is always served at the table, symbolizing “surplus year after year”. As professionals in storage, we understand the value of “enough” better than anyone: not clutter, but order; not possession, but balance. May the new year bring you ample space in life and peace in your heart—room to carry the past and space to embrace the future.
On this night, elders give lucky money to the younger generations. Through this age-old tradition, we send you a special blessing:
may it hold down the tiredness and anxiety of the past year, bringing you safety year after year;
may it lift up your hopes and strides in the new year, leading you forward with calm and ease.
On this night, many stay up to shou sui—watch over the passing year. Lights stay on, families sit together quietly. We watch over time, and we guard the trust we share. On those late nights rushing orders, our office lights burned just the same—those beside us were colleagues then, but looking back, they have long become family.

Looking back on the Year of the Snake: Behind every growth, someone has your back
The outgoing Yisi Year of the Snake has not been an easy journey.
Markets shifted, costs rose, and customer requirements became higher. We pulled all-nighters to rush orders; we struggled with tough problems until we found solutions. We all felt exhausted at times, yet we kept telling ourselves, “Just hold on a little longer.”
But we pulled through—not by any single person alone.
When problems arose, someone always stood with us to solve them. When we were overwhelmed, colleagues from other departments would ask before leaving, “Need any help?” Experienced teammates, busy with their own work, still took the time to patiently guide new members.
And when people ask, “Why stay here?” the answers, spoken and unspoken, are simple:
The atmosphere is warm and genuine; we get along with each other easily.
We learn and grow, with room to try.
After spending time together, we truly care for this team.

There are no grand stories.
Every time we felt we could barely go on, we looked around and found someone there.
That is more than enough.
The Year of the Snake has taught us one thing:
growth is rarely a sudden leap. It is about quietly shedding old layers, moving forward carefully while our new strength still takes shape.
And luckily, at every turning point, we had each other by our side.
Thank you, every GREENSIDE teammate, for growing through this year together.
Looking ahead to the Year of the Horse: Keep moving forward, and we shall reach our destination
After tonight, we will embrace the Bingwu Year of the Horse.
The horse stands for steady, persistent, unstoppable progress. That is exactly who we are:
no shortcuts to overnight success, only the patience to do every small thing well;
no lone heroes, only a group of people who support and rely on each other.
The last Year of the Horse was 2014,
GREENSIDE’s early days.
We worked in a smaller office, cheered for every new order, and breathed a sigh of relief with every shipment. Back then, we never imagined going this far—we only knew that working with this team felt steady and reassuring.
Twelve years make one cycle.
Today we have gone much further, serving customers in dozens of countries, bringing our storage solutions to more homes worldwide. Our responsibility is heavier, but those years running side by side have turned fellow travelers into family.
Storms may still lie ahead, but we still have each other.
We have experienced colleagues willing to guide the new.
We have new teammates working hard to find their footing.
We have chat windows that still light up late at night.
And we have the line we have said countless times—and truly lived by:
“We’ll get through this.”
We often say:
GREENSIDE exists to organize a better life for families around the world.
The true meaning of storage is never about hiding valuables.
It is about making ordinary life orderly, dignified, and worthy of being seen.
This mission starts with us:
we cherish each other’s trust, hold dear the days we fight side by side,
and carry the quiet, unspoken gratitude in our hearts.

Tonight, we speak of no KPIs, no delivery targets, no growth goals.
We speak only of two things: gratitude and hope.
We thank every GREENSIDE member—on the production line, at the desk, on client sites, and on business trips.
We thank the families who support us quietly: those who wait for you, save you dinner, and always say, “Don’t worry, focus on your work.”
We thank every client and partner who trusts us—you give our work meaning.
We leave all our hope to the brand-new Year of the Horse.
Tonight, the New Year’s Eve dinner is warm, and the lights are gentle.
May the Fu character bless your door.
May fish bring abundance to your table.
May lucky money carry our care.
May the people beside you as you stay up late bring you peace of mind.
May you stay healthy, calm, and blessed with small joys in the new year.
May we continue walking side by side,
turning the simple work of storage into a career we can be proud of for a lifetime.
Peace and health on New Year’s Eve, and a joyful Spring Festival.
The Year of the Snake has passed; the Year of the Horse leaps into a new journey.
